Cedar Middle School would like to remind our community that school starts tomorrow at 8:30am and students will be released at 3:18pm. For those parents dropping students off and picking up at the end of the day, we ask that you PLEASE use the drop off and pick up in the back of the school. Parents will enter the main parking lot through the far west entrance and drive to the back of the school for the student drop off and pick up. Student safety is a top priority and we ask that parents do not drop off or pick up in the front of the school on Cedar Street. Thank you and we are looking forward to an AWESOME year. Go Spartans!
Good evening Spartan families. Our open house was a HUGE success. We were able to check out many textbooks and Chromebooks. ALL textbooks that were checked out to students are considered home sets and should remain at home. Only the Chromebooks should be charged and brought to school each day. We are looking forward to and incredible year. Thank you
Hesperia Unified School District is pleased to announce that we will be using the Raptor Visitor Management System in all of our schools as part of our campus safety programs for students and faculty. All visitors, volunteers, and visiting staff will be asked to present a government-issued ID, such as a Driver’s License, state ID, etc. The Raptor system only checks the visitor's name and date of birth for comparison with a national database of registered sex offenders. No other data from the ID is gathered or recorded. The system is not connected to any other database such as the Department of Motor Vehicles, and information is not shared with any outside agency.
This implementation will help increase the efficiency in our offices, allowing District-approved volunteers to spend their valuable time in classrooms instead of in the front office. Thank you, in advance, for your support in enhancing safety in our schools.
