Veteran's Day Assembly

Recap

Yesterday, Thursday, November 6, 2025, Kingston hosted a memorable Veterans Day assembly dedicated to honoring our nation's veterans. Our amazing students even showed their appreciation and support through a spectacular performance lead by our incredible music teacher, Mrs. Hawken.

A Touching Tribute

With the idea of "Honoring Our Heroes" in mind, the event successfully paid tribute to those who have served our country with courage and pride. The afternoon was filled with patriotic performances from our talented students, including:

  • The Kingston 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grades

  • The 4th–6th Grade Choir

Many of our students showed their patriotic spirit by participating in an Optional Spirit Day, wearing red, white, blue, or camouflage. Decorations provided by our awesome Kingston ASB & PTC teams added to the celebratory atmosphere.

Family Engagement via Live Stream

Although the assembly was for students only, parents and families were able to join in the celebration remotely. The event was live streamed, allowing families to support our amazing students and share in the tribute to our veterans. To further express appreciation, any families who couldn't tune into the live stream can view the recording of the assembly at their leisure on Kingston's school website here: https://www.kingstonelementary.org/o/kingston-elementary-school/page/live-stream-and-media

The assembly served as a poignant reminder that we are the "Land of the free because of the brave."

We are so proud of our students for their wonderful performances and for coming together to remember, honor, and celebrate our veterans!
