Good afternoon Shadow Ridge families. As we near the end of the year we need all of our families who plan of coming back next year to stop by the school and sign their master agreement for the 25/26 school year. We are also asking all students to bring their Chromebooks with them when they come to sign the master agreement so we can verify it is in good working order before the start of the new school year. If you have already signed your 25/26 master agreement, please call the front office to review the serial number on the Chromebook assigned to your child. Thank you.

Stop by our office Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, to sign your Master Agreement for the 2025–2026 school year. Please bring the following with you:
*A valid photo ID
*Proof of residency (a current utility bill with your name and address)
*Your student to sign the agreement also
*Be sure to complete the annual update in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal before coming in
If you live outside the HUSD boundaries, you may need a new inter-district transfer release from your home district. If you have any questions, feel free to call the front office—we’re here to help!
We congratulate our elementary e-sports team for participating in our district-wide tournament! These young sharks represent our school very well displaying sportsmanship and positive attitude. We are proud of you!
We’re incredibly proud of our Sharks who joined the music program this year under the guidance of our talented music teacher, Leslie Miranda. Last night, several of our students took the stage alongside young musicians from across the district at a concert hosted by Topaz Elementary. A special shoutout goes to our 10th grader, Alex Perez, who proudly represented Shadow Ridge with an impressive performance showcasing his vocal and guitar talents. Go Sharks!
Last week, our high school students attended the VVC Industrial Technology Expo and learned about many of the exciting programs VVC has to offer. Some of our tour including Construction, Automotive, Welding, and Computer Technology. Students also had an amazing meal served by the VVC Culinary Arts program and had the opportunity to meet with representatives from departments such as Workforce Development, Athletics, Financial Aid and much more. The future is looking bright for our Sharks!

What a fin-tastic day! Our 5th graders took a deep dive into 4th grade geology as part of their CAST test prep! They had hands-on learning with glow-in-the-dark minerals, explored different types of rocks (sedimentary, igneous, metamorphic), and examined fossils. Go Sharks!

Good afternoon Shark families. This is a reminder we will be starting state testing next week on Monday, April 21st. Only those who are taking state testing will be coming in person for the week. High school students will report to Shadow Ridge School and middle school and elementary students will report to the district office annex. If you have questions about where you need to report and what time, please reach out to your child's homeroom teacher. All other in person support will be cancelled for the week. After reading the book "One and Only Ivan," Mrs. Glaze's 4th graders had a watch party of the movie based on the book. The kids laughed, cried, and shared their favorite characters and events of the story. It was an insightful book and an awesome movie!
